Student cards provided must show the following information: university/school information, full student name, student, photo and valid date within a single year. Multiyear cards are not accepted by the Peruvian authorities.

Machu Picchu tickets are NOT sold at the entrance gate. We highly recommend you to buy your ticket through our booking system at the earliest.
The Citadel of Machu Picchu is a national and international classified and protected site; therefore, it depends on Peruvian Government and particularly on the Ministry of Culture Cusco. They establish access conditions, regulations, entrance fees.
Your tickets will be automatically reserved after having completing the booking process. However we need passports of each visitor to validate your tickets as this mandatory.
As soon as you complete your booking you will receive an email requesting for the passports of each visitor. You only need to respond to that email with the documentation required.
If you do not have the passports with you at the moment of your booking, please send us at least the following information:
1. FULL name of each visitor
2. Nationality of each visitor
3. Date of birth of each visitor
4. Passport number of each visitor

Your tickets will be printed and sent to you by e-mail once when have received the passports or personal information of each visitor.
Unfortunately is not possible to change the name, passport number or date of visiting after issuing the ticket.
We will just be able to change details on the tickets if we made a mistake on your personal information. However Peruways will not be responsible if customers provide not accurate personal information with mistakes.
It is not possible to cancel your Machu Picchu tickets once they have been issued. Unfortunately the Ministry of Culture does not accept any cancellation after issuing Official Machu Picchu Tickets.
The child tariff can be applied on children from 8 to 17 years old.
Children up to 7 year old can access for free if they can prove they have less than 8 years the date of their visit.
The best option is climbing to the Machu Picchu Mountain.
Most of visitors want to climb the Huayna Picchu for the view. However they do not know that the view from the Mountain is more beautiful. The reason is because you can get a more picturesque view of the overall site like on the famous pictures. Most of the visitors like to book the Huayna Picchu because is more popular (due to marketing) but the view they get from there is not the most authentic and they miss the nice view from the Machu Picchu Mountain.
ISIC student cards alone are not accepted by Peruvian Authorities, therefore they cannot be used to book student tickets.
ISIC student cards can ONLY be used along with a National student card (card from your country), as an extra card if some information is missed on the national card.
Unfortunately as per the Peruvian Authorities ISIC student cards can NOT be used alone for any discount.
Students are responsible to provide valid student cards on time when placing their orders. Peruways cannot be held responsable if visitors provide invalid documents and the spots selected during their booking are missed due to the fact they failed to provide a valid student card.
Pick up from hotels are only available on departures from Cusco and Puno.
Our Standard ticket does not include the service “pick up at hotel” but we can offer you this extra service for a little extra.
In order to request this service you should book it through the reservation system when you made your order.
Tickets include the transport by road from, whether one-way or round trip, contracted by travelers.

You can request a refund of your money by email at email@example.com no less than 5 days before the departure day*, subject to a charge for administrative expenses. This refund shall be paid within three or four weeks, through your credit card or bank account

Yes, you can buy your tickets just 24 hours in advance but you will not be able to buy tickets less than 20h before the departure time.

Not much, remember our trips are all inclusive. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and a day pack to carry extra snacks and water.

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.
We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show ID matching your reservation and also the Order # that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation.
We do hike in the rain, snow, wind and any other weather conditions that nature decides to throw at us. After all, we’re going on adventures! If the weather is unsafe for any reason, the trip will be changed or postponed. You will be notified the week of your trip if there are changes due to weather.
You must call 72 hours ahead of your scheduled tour for a full refund. Within 72 hours you will assess a $35 termination fee. There are no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of your tour, or if you decide not to show up.
