The railway operator Perurail, wishes to inform its passengers and the general public that due to operational reasons and in accordance with the terms and conditions, from Wednesday, July 26 until Sunday, December 31 inclusive, the Direct Train services of frequencies 33, 31, 203, 32, 34, and 604, which operate from and to the Poroy and San Pedro stations, will run as per their existing timetable but in a bimodal service (bus + train). This means the departure and arrival times for these services will remain unchanged. Passengers will leave and arrive at the same stations, at the times previously established.
In this way, the trains considered for this bimodal operation, will be given in the following schedules:
Regular train services on the Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu – Ollantaytambo and Urubamba – Machu Picchu – Urubamba routes will continue to operate as usual, according to their respective timetables.
Additionally, Perurail would like to inform that there will be no changes made in the reservation system. Hence, there is no need to reissue tickets or boarding passes that were issued prior to the temporary changes mentioned above.
The railway operator regrets any inconvenience caused by these modifications, which are made in the interest of passenger safety and in adherence to the terms and conditions. We sincerely appreciate your understanding in this matter. Any further changes to this arrangement will be communicated promptly.
