Overview

Discover the salt mines of Maras, the Inca archaeological site of Moray and the amazing Sacred Valley landscapes with this sensational Quad bike tour that departs from Cusco.

The tour starts with a pick-up at your hotel in Cusco where you will be pick up by a minibus to go to Cruz Pata.
In Cruz Pata you will be briefed and trained on how to drive a Quad Bike to make sure you feel confident before starting the Quad tour.

You will be able see typical villages on the way to the colonial town of Maras. There, explore the unique character of the town center and the locals’ everyday life.

Continue the visit to the fascinating Inca archaeological site of Moray. There you will see the high-plateau built by the Incas with its stunning terraced circular depressions.

Then, visit the famous and picturesque Maras salt mines with their irregular rectangle shapes. This place was used by the old Peruvian to extract salt and it is still being used by the local people.

On the way back you will take a different route before arriving to the Minibus pick up point where you will be driven back to Cusco.

The departure time will be at 7:00am or 1pm. The pick up at your hotel will be around within 40 minutes before the departure time. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm the tour and times.

After the tour you will be dropped off at your hotel in Central Cusco or near Cusco Main Square. You can ask to your guide at the end of the tour where you want to be dropped off.

This tour takes place in sunny or rainy / cold or warm weather. We suggest to visitors to check weather conditions on the month or day they book their activity

The Salt Mines entrance and Moray archeological site entrance ticket are not included and it is optional. These can be paid on the spot. The cost is 10 soles for the Salt Mines and 70 soles for Moral Archaeological site.
