Overview

Visit the last bridge from the Inca culture and four lagoons in the picturesque province of Acomayo.

With this tour you will be picked you up at your hotel early in the morning (around 5am)  and you will be driven for 3 hours to Quehue area.  There you will start a hike with a short stop in Yanacoa, to take a break, before continue for 30 minutes towards the  Q’eswachaka bridge.

This bridge, which is an Unesco World Heritage site, is built with qoya fiber. This fiber is a material obtained from a local plants which is often renewed with a ritual made by the local communities. In the past the bridge was built using other materials.

During your visit you will see the bridge and you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the area while your guide will give your more details about the bridge and Inca’s history.

After visiting the bridge, you will go back to your minibus to travel for 1 hour towards the Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnaqocha and Pampamarca lagoons.

There you will be amazed by the majestic views of the four lagoons within the Andes but you will also be delighted by local flora and fauna.

At the end of this visit you  have your lunch in the area before going back to Cusco.

When and where does the tour start?
The departure time will be at around 5:00am. The pick up at your hotel at around 4:30-5:00am. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm the tour and times.
When and where does the tour end?
After the tour you will be dropped off in Central Cusco in Plaza Regocijos or Plaza San Francisco. Drop-off at hotel is not included.
When is recommended to arrive to Cusco?
It is recommended to arrive in Cusco at least 2 days before the tour in order to acclimatize and get used to the altitude. If you cannot arrive 2 days in advance it is strongly recommended to arrive the day before the tour because the tours start very early in the morning.
