Discover the Nazca Lines through an amazing panoramic view and see the 12 most important figures from the air with this incredible flight tour.

With this your you will be pick up from your hotel in Nazca in the morning to go to the small Nazca airport. There you will meet the pilot , you will be briefed on the safety instructions and you will receive detailed information about the flight journey. Then you will take a 35 minutes flight over the enigmatic Nazca Lines where you will be able to see the 12 most representatives figures such as the Condor, Spider, Monkey, Hands, Astronaut, Tree and more.

The Nazca lines figures you will see are amazing remains from the old Peruvian Nazca civilization and they are almost 2000 years old. There are three basic types of Nazca Lines: straight lines, geometric designs and pictorial representations.

Based on the relative position of lines it was concluded that the geoglyphs had an astronomy-related purpose

More recent research suggested that the Nazca Lines’ purpose was related to water, a valuable commodity in the arid lands of the Peruvian coastal plain. The geoglyphs weren’t used as an irrigation system or a guide to find water, but rather as part of a ritual to the gods—an effort to bring much-needed rain.

You will be able to appreciated the lines in detailed from the sky and enjoy the Peruvian desert where they are located before flying back to the airpot and then go back to your hotel in Nazca.

We recommend the flight tour as the view is much better than the observatory tour.
