Getting on the Machu Picchu bus is simple once you know the drill. Here is what Peruways passengers need to know:

  1. Booking confirmation: once you book with Peruways, we send a reservation. A few days before travel you get your boarding passes by email. You don’t need to print them; keep them on your phone.

  2. Bring your passport. It is required at boarding for ID.

  3. The stop is at Avenida Hermanos Ayar s/n in Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes), opposite the Artisan market. Look for our marked stop; our staff will be there.

  4. Boarding is straightforward. The queue moves quickly and our ground team is on hand if anything is unclear.

  5. Once you are on board, the ride up the switchbacks is the warm-up for the ruins. Panoramic windows, reasonable seats.

Let Peruways handle the transfer so you can focus on the site itself.
