We took this bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. As the article said the queues are very long but we got the tickets in advance so no issues with the first queue. We were lucky as while people was buying their tickets the other queue to go on the buses was almost empty so we were one of the first to arrive to the citadel :)
