Peruways runs a minibus fleet across the Cusco and Sacred Valley routes to Machu Picchu, cutting the drive down to groups of 20 or fewer. Smaller vehicles are easier on the switchbacks between Ollantaytambo and the valleys around Cusco.

Each minibus has GPS tracking, air conditioning, and reclining seats, and runs under comprehensive insurance. Routes typically cover Cusco–Ollantaytambo–Aguas Calientes connections, Sacred Valley loops, and transfers to Rainbow Mountain and the Salkantay trailheads.

Drivers are long-haul regulars on the Andean routes. The passes between Cusco and the Sacred Valley cross 3,700m and are weather-dependent in rainy season (December–March), so route knowledge matters.

Peruways prefers minibuses to the larger 30–35-seat coaches because the rural stretches to the trailheads — especially the Rainbow Mountain road and the Lares valley — have tight corners where the larger coaches struggle. Smaller vehicles handle them more safely.
