Peruways handles Machu Picchu entry tickets on behalf of travellers who don’t want to navigate the Ministry of Culture’s booking site. Tickets are time-slotted, circuit-specific, and limited to around 4,500 per day — selling out two to three months ahead in June through August.
Through peruways.com, you pick your date, circuit (there are six since the 2024 reform) and entry hour. The confirmation comes with your passport details on it; you’ll need the same passport at the gate.
Once inside, the circuit decides what you see. Circuit 1 covers the classic postcard viewpoint by the guardhouse; Circuit 2 drops deepest through the urban core past the Three Windows; Circuit 3 is the shorter lower route for anyone short on time or altitude.
Peruways’ guides pick up at the gate if you’ve added one — they’re licensed by the Ministry and work in several languages.
Book your citadel ticket through Peruways as soon as your trip dates are firm.
