Inca Rail is one of two operators running trains to Machu Picchu, alongside PeruRail. Services run from Ollantaytambo and Poroy to Aguas Calientes along the Urubamba river.
The journey crosses the lower Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of Machu Picchu. Service classes include Voyager (basic), 360° (panoramic windows and observation deck), First Class (dining and bar car), and the Private service (small group, luxury).
Peruways books Inca Rail across all classes. The 360° is a sweet spot — side and overhead glass, open-air back car, Peruvian food, around $100–140 round trip depending on season.
Reserve seats through Peruways and we’ll handle the surrounding logistics — Cusco or Ollantaytambo transfer, Consettur bus at Aguas Calientes, hotel if you want one.
