Machu Picchu is one of the easier bucket-list sites to tackle alone. The Cusco-to-citadel corridor is well-trodden, guides are everywhere, and the logistics chain (train, bus, timed entry) is predictable enough to plan from your phone.
Solo female travelers tend to appreciate how structured the day is. The train runs to timetable, the Consettur buses from Aguas Calientes run every few minutes, and the site itself is one-way with marked circuits. Add the Inca Trail or Huayna Picchu if you want more, or stick to the classic morning circuit if you don’t.
At Peruways we’re used to solo bookings. We’ll point out which hotels in Aguas Calientes are best for a one-night stop, which train times leave Cusco Centro with the fewest layovers, and we offer women-led guides on request. Visit Peruways to put the pieces together.
Peru rewards travelers who plan — and we’ll help you plan.
