A guided tour of Machu Picchu is worth the money. The citadel is large, the signage is minimal, and most of what makes the site extraordinary — the astronomical alignments, the sacred stones, the hydraulic engineering — isn’t obvious without someone explaining it.

Peruways’ guides are licensed by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and walk you through the key structures: the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana ritual stone, the Royal Tomb, and the terraces that fed the resident population.

Tours run both as small groups and as private bookings. Peruways also handles ticket purchase (Machu Picchu tickets are capacity-controlled and often sell out), train bookings, and the Cusco–Aguas Calientes transfer.
