Lost Machu Picchu ticket? Don’t worry—this happens more often than you think! Whether you misplaced the email confirmation or accidentally deleted the file, recovering your ticket is easier than you might expect. In this guide, we’ll show you step-by-step how to find your lost Machu Picchu ticket and get ready for your adventure.
1. Search Your Email Inbox and Spam Folder
After purchasing your Machu Picchu ticket, you should receive a confirmation email with your ticket attached (usually in PDF format).
If you can’t find it in your inbox, check these folders:
- Spam/Junk
- Promotions (especially in Gmail)
Search using keywords like “Machu Picchu,” “Ticket,” or the name of the agency you purchased from.
2. Check the Official Machu Picchu Website
If you booked through the official government website or an authorized travel agency, you can usually retrieve your ticket by logging into your account with the details you used during the booking process.
You’ll typically need:
- Your Booking/Reservation Code
- The Passport Number you used during purchase
Once logged in, you can download and print your ticket again.
3. Contact Customer Support of the Agency or Website
If you purchased your ticket through an online travel agency, reach out to their customer support team. Provide them with your:
- Full name
- Passport number
- Date of travel
- Payment details (like the last 4 digits of your credit card)
Most agencies can resend the ticket to your email within a few hours.
