Machu Picchu entrance tickets are sold in fixed-window slots: nine entries a day between 6am and 2pm, released every hour and a half, and each tied to one of three one-way circuits inside the site. Peruways’ booking page shows the circuits side by side so you can match the ticket to the kind of visit you want.
Circuit 1 (upper) covers the terrace viewpoints and the Sun Gate option. Circuit 2 (intermediate) walks the Royal Tomb, the Temple of the Sun and the Three Windows. Circuit 3 (lower) focuses on the agricultural sector and the Temple of the Condor. The Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain add-ons sit on top of specific circuits.
Peruways packages the entrance with the train from Ollantaytambo, the Consettur shuttle up from Aguas Calientes, and a hotel in Aguas Calientes if you want the first entry of the day. A local guide can be added as an extra for the first visit.
The company works with community-run cooperatives and lodges in the Sacred Valley — the kind of partnerships that keep money in the valley rather than extracting it.
Book through Peruways to lock in your entry window and the connecting services in one go.
