Peruways runs guided tours through the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba River corridor between Cusco and Machu Picchu. The valley holds the two best-preserved Inca towns outside the citadel itself — Pisac and Ollantaytambo — along with the terraces, salt pans, and village workshops that are easier to visit here than anywhere else in Peru. Guides are Ministry of Culture-licensed and the itineraries include transfers, lunch at a local restaurant, and timed access to the ticketed sites. Pisac has the Sunday artisan market and hilltop ruins; Ollantaytambo has the terraced fortress and the still-functioning Inca street grid. Smaller stops add Moray’s circular agricultural terraces and the Maras salt pans. Expect to be out from Cusco for a full day.
