Discover the city of Lima and visit pre-Inca archeological sites with this great full day tour. On this tour you will be able to discovery the pre-Inca side of the city but you also be able to visit its colonial and more recent side.

You will pick up at your hotel in Miraflores or San Isidro (pick up from other locations possible if requested during the booking process) between 9:10am and 9:45am.

The first stop will be at the archaeological site of Pachacamac. This pre-Inca archaeological complex was an important place built by the old Peruvians where you will be able to see the temple of the Sun and other important constructions.

After your Pachacamac visit you will stop at the bohemian district of Barranco, also known as the “artistic, cultural and love” district. This place is popular as many important personalities of Peru related to the culture area have lived or were born there and they have been inspired by the district in their artistic works.

Before continuing with the rest of the tour visitors will go to a restaurant to enjoy a nice lunch and then on the way to the next stop you will be able to see the Pacific ocean.

The next stop will be in the Huaca Pucllana which is one of the oldest pre-Inca sites in the middle of the modern city.

After the Huaca Pucllana visit will go to the Central bank museum where are exposed gold, ceramic and textiles objects from pre-Inca cultures.

By the end of the day you will finally visit the Plaza de Armas of central Lima (main square) where you will be able to admire the Lima Cathedral, the Government Palace and the City Hall. You will also be able to visit the convent of San Francisco and go inside of its old Catacombs, made of tunnels and undergrounds rooms, which is one of the Lima’s oldest cemeteries.
