How does the service work? The adventure begins with a pickup in Central Cusco at 7:20 am*. From there, travelers embark on a scenic journey towards Machu Picchu Hidroelectrica, making a stop for a refreshing lunch break along the way. The approximate arrival time at Machu Picchu Hidroelectrica is 2:30 pm*. At this point, travelers have the option to take a short 30-minute train ride to Aguas Calientes or embark on a captivating 2 to 3-hour walk amidst the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Machu Picchu.

What about the return journey to Cusco? The return journey follows the same route in reverse. There are two departure times from Machu Picchu Hidroelectric:

• 2:30 pm → Arriving in Cusco at 9:30 pm
• 5:00 pm → Arriving in Cusco at 11:55 pm* To ensure a seamless return, we recommend departing Aguas Calientes by 11:00 am for the 2:30 pm service and by 1:30 pm for the 5:00 pm service.
